What to expect
What to Expect on the Big Day!!!

Performance Area: We prefer to perform indoors in a gymnasium or on a multi-purpose floor. However, our "Juggling Through the Ages" assembly can be performed on a stage.

Equipment Needs: W.E. C.A.R.E. performers arrive approximately one hour before show time. Our usual needs are amplified CD/Cassette player, two tumbling mats to set up a backdrop, and a small table to display equipment. We also visit your physical education equipment room for hoola hoops, a football, soccer ball, etc. depending on our program. Have no worries, we always find what we need.

Seating Arrangements: We prefer to set up along a long wall in your gym (performers backs to the wall). We need about 20 feet between the wall and the first row of children. Students should be seated on the floor with their legs crossed. The youngest students should be seated in front with grades radiating back in order to the oldest. Spread the students to enhance visibility. We recommend providing folding chairs in the outermost rows for staff, PTA members and guests. We believe in the old cliche, "The more, the merrier". Please feel free to invite anyone interested in seeing our educational & entertaining program. Another recommendation is to bring the youngest children in at the last moment to avoid sitting too long.

Brief program descriptions

Games Around the World - In an effort to celebrate the diversity of humankind through the games people play, W.E. C.A.R.E. has developed a multicultural games program.  This unique program teaches a variety of activities in a fun, positive and non-competitive atmosphere.  Students learn different skills with emphasis on our motto- THE MOST FUN WINS!!!

Juggling Through the Ages - A vaudeville-style presentation of the art of juggling. Juggling and other cross-lateral activities are proven to increase and improve reading comprehension.

Cognitive Creativity - This program is filled with fun activities created with the brain in mind. Utlilizing a wide variety of stimulating activities and equipment, we teach your students activities working both sides of the brain equally!

Three Strikes You're Awesome - Using ocular movement (tracking and targeting), striking skills are taught in this program. We use unusual, fun, easy to use equipment to make things more exciting. The main focus is literacy. The students, while playing, learn about the words and language humans use to communicate.

Born in the USA - This program is filled with games created in the United States of America. Activities strengthen bilateral, unilateral, and cross-lateral coordination while having fun with Footbags (Hacky Sack), Flying Discs (Frisbee), Foxtails and Spiderballs!

Teams Work - W.E. C.A.R.E.'s "Teams Work" program provides new ways to develop team building concepts for the entire class or large group. Student engage in trust, cooperation and commitment while working together to accomplish a goal.  The main objectives include teaching social skills that involve problem solving, adaptability, verbal and tactile contact.  Personal behavior is brought up front with self-control, creativity, and spontaneity.  This program meets three of the National Physical Education Standards.

Beyond Throw and Catch - Students learn throwing and catching accuracy through creative exploration. Learning stations offer individualized instruction, cooperative learning and opportunities to practice personal creativity.

Kicking Games Worldwide - A multicultural demonstration of the story of kicking games in a highly educational and humorous presentation.
